Your holiday rental will be available from 3 PM on your day of arrival.

You can pick up the key at the reception of Erfgoedpark De Hoop at Lagendijk 33b in Uitgeest from 3 PM or via a key safe.

If you are arriving outside of opening hours, please inform us in time by calling +31(0) 72 740 0016 or sending an e-mail to receptie-dehoop@dutchen.com. We will then arrange for you to collect the key to your accommodation via the key safe and for the necessary arrival information to be ready for you.

The opening hours of the reception are limited during off-peak season. But the reception can always be reached by telephone: +(0)72-7400016 or in case of emergency, via the emergency number: +31(0)72-7400016 - Press 2 times number 1.

What will be present in your holiday home on arrival?

To get your stay off to a good start, we have already laid out a number of items for you in the house so that you won't lack anything. You can find this here.

Have you booked a vacation home with a hottub? Due to hygiene measures, it will be completely emptied, cleaned and refilled before your arrival. It is possible that the hottub is not yet at the right temperature when you arrive. Our apologies for the inconvenience. Our villas with Finnish sauna are equipped with a delicious sauna liquid!

Do you need extra bed linen, towels or kitchen linen? You can book this at the reception. There is also a washer and dryer in the house, so you have the possibility to wash your linen and towels.

Departure

Unfortunately, every holiday comes to an end. On the day of departure you can return the key to our reception until 10 AM. Are you leaving outside the opening hours of the reception? Then you can return the key by putting it in the key safe at the reception

Before you leave, we kindly ask you to check the following:

- The dishes are done and cleaned up.
- The heating is set to 18°C.
- The air conditioning is switched off.
- All windows and doors are closed.
- Moved furniture is back in its original place.
- Waste has been deposited in the park container.
- Any damage or breakage to the property or inventory has been reported.

Payments

If you still have a balance to pay, this can be done by debit card or credit card at the reception of the holiday park. Unfortunately, it is not possible to pay in cash.

Park rules

Cars on the park

Cars are not parked on the park itself but in the designated parking lots to the left after the entrance or to the right before the entrance. For the glamping tents, there is a private parking lot just before you enter the field. You can use a wagon to unload your belongings and bring them to the accommodation.

Housing/bikes

To prevent damage to the house/ glamping tent, we ask you not to park your bicycles against the accommodations.

Waste

Garbage can be deposited separately in the waste container at the entrance. There are containers for general waste, paper and glass.

Pets

Pets are allowed only in specific accommodations. Dogs must be leashed at all times in the park.

Parents with children

Our park is for young and old! We do want to ask parents to pay attention to the following points:
- When playing, please respect the environment and other residents
- Beware of doors and windows
- Beware of the water

Nature & surroundings Uitgeest

Near Uitgeest is the Het Twiske nature reserve, a beautiful recreational area with lakes, reed beds and forests, perfect for hiking, cycling and bird watching. The North Holland Dune Reserve also offers extensive dunes and forests, ideal for quiet walks and cycling trips.

Nature

By car, you drive from Erfgoedpark De Hoop to Castricum aan Zee beach within 15 minutes. You can park here in the large paid car park and there are also some charging points for electric cars. The beach is also easy to reach by bike, you cycle there in about 35 minutes. You can also cycle to Castricum's ‘quiet beach’, where you can enjoy the beach and nature in peace and quiet.
Besides having the widest beach in the Netherlands, Wijk aan Zee is also known as one of the better surfing spots in the North Sea. You drive there in about 20 minutes and you can park for free outside the centre area of Wijk aan Zee. By bike, you can reach the beach in about 45 minutes.
Egmond aan Zee is also well worth a visit. You can get there by car in 25 minutes, and by bike it takes about 50 minutes. In the months of March to October, parking in Egmond aan Zee is charged. Besides a fine beach, Egmond aan Zee also has a cosy village centre with many restaurants and nice shop.

Visit the Sea Aquarium in Bergen aan Zee and learn all about the underwater world. You will find the most beautiful fish, sea creatures and shells and even two seals in the outdoor enclosure.
Giraffes, zebras and lots of different monkeys; in Van Blanckendaell Park you will spot special animals from all continents. The animal park is spacious so it is never too crowded. For younger children there is a fun playground and museum train.

In the warm summer months, the park's swimming lake is a safe place to play quietly in the water.
Want to cool off in the pool? In the vicinity you will find various swimming pools such as De Hoornse Vaart in Alkmaar, Het Baafje in Heiloo (outdoor only) or Zwembad de Heerenduinen in IJmuiden.
The beach is not far away either. Relax by the sea in Castricum and Egmond aan Zee or go surfing with the kids in popular Wijk aan Zee.
