On an adventure with Dutchen

At Dutchen, we believe that nature is the most beautiful playground and encourage our guests to discover it. Our stylish holiday homes are located at small-scale parks in the middle of nature, near the beach or on the waterfront. You can add a cot, high chair or stair gate when booking. While the children play safely and experience adventures, you can relax in a sauna, Jacuzzi® or hottub. That's enjoyment!

Clean Up Bingo - Help create a clean environment!

Get a free Dutchen waste picker and biodegradable bags at the reception in Schoorl and at Park de Zeegser Duinen and collect waste during your walks. For children, there is Clean Up Bingo - a full card earns a fun surprise!

Holiday Park de Hoop

There is always something going on at Holiday Park de Hoop. Children play safely in three playgrounds or the swimming lake, while sports enthusiasts can SUP, canoe or play a game of volleyball or football for free. On weekends and holidays, there are fun activities such as crafts in the mill, face painting, a forest ranger scavenger hunt, film nights and a weekly pizza party. Bike rental (with child seats) is also available.

There is much more to do near the park. Enjoy swimming and water sports on the Uitgeestermeer lake or one of the North Sea beaches, play in Playground De Veilige Haven, go bowling or jump in the Trampoline Park. Spot animals in Van Blanckendaell Park, walk with alpacas or discover history at Huis van Hilde.

Our parks in Schoorl

Dutchen has four holiday parks in Schoorl: Villapark Mooi Schoorl, Park Buiten Bergen, Park Duynvoet and Park Weideduyn. Villapark Mooi Schoorl and Park Buiten Bergen have their own playground. Nearby is the 51-metre-high climbing dune Klimduin, a gigantic sandpit for children.

For family adventures, the Buitencentrum Schoorlse Duinen is the ideal starting point, with a forest playground, a barefoot path and themed walking routes. Those who want to explore the dunes and beaches by bike can rent bicycles, e-bikes and cargo bikes at the Dutchen reception.

Families enjoy six beaches in the area and the child-friendly lagoon of Camperduin. There are also numerous play parks such as De Goudvis, Holle Bolle Boom and Speelpark de Swaan. Animal lovers will enjoy Landgoed Hoenderdaell, Van Blanckendaell Park and the Zee Aquarium in Bergen aan Zee.

Located in the beautiful National Park Drentsche Aa, Park de Zeegser Duinen offers a diverse landscape of heathlands, forests and sand drifts. The spacious villas and Suitelodges, often with a whirlpool and firebowl, are ideal for families. For a day of water fun and swimming, head to the Zuidlaardermeer or the DX Adventure Park. Discover the dolmens, the village of Orvelte or the Veenpark. Visit the Prison Museum, experience the Boomtoppenwandeling in Drouwen or play ‘The Nature Game’ in the national park. See wild animals in Wildlands Adventure Zoo or visit Balloo's sheepfold. Amusement parks such as Drouwenerzand and Sprookjeshof offer fun and children can also have a great time at play farm the ‘Drentse Koe’. Our parks on Texel

On the island of Texel, with two beautiful parks - Park Waddenduyn and Park Duynzoom - there is always something going on for families. In spring, you can enjoy blooming tulip fields and playful lambs skipping merrily through the meadows. Cycle the special lambing route or cuddle the lambs at Schapenboerderij Texel.

During the summer holidays, Texel offers 30 kilometres of sandy beaches for sunbathing, swimming and building sandcastles. Explore nature by bike or on foot, or spot seals at Ecomare. You can also visit the picturesque villages, climb the lighthouse, or enjoy a delicious meal in one of the many beach pavilions.

For refreshment on hot days, you can make your own ice cream at IJsboerderij Labora or Novalis Hoeve. Or experience a mudflat walk and discover the special nature of the Wadden Sea. Texel is also a watersports paradise, with windsurfing, kite surfing, sea kayaking and supping on the coast.
