Park Duynzoom is a small-scale holiday park, within walking distance of the beach. The spacious villas feature four bedrooms with private bathrooms. The gardens around the villas are generous and offer plenty of privacy. With private wellness facilities, such as a sauna or whirlpool, you will enjoy your stay on Texel even more.

Your villa at holiday Park Duynzoom is available for you from 4 PM on the arrival date.

You can check in directly at your holiday home between 4 PM and 5 PM; Park Duynzoom is located at the Bosrandweg 487, 1796 NH De Koog, Texel.

The property manager Mark Oosterhuis would like to receive a message or phone call no later than the day of arrival when you are standing in front of the ferry to Texel. You can contact him directly at +31(0)653194746, and Mark will coordinate his arrival time at the accommodation with you to hand over the key personally and provide you with the latest information. If you have any questions beforehand, you can reach Dutchen Customer Support via +31 (0)23 741 0061 or via info@dutchen.com.

Do you expect to arrive later than 5 PM? Please inform the property manager Mark on time by telephone. You can arrange a different time together to pick up the key..

What will be present in your holiday home on arrival?

To get your stay off to a good start, we have already laid out a number of items for you in the house so that you won't lack anything.
You can find all this here;

Have you booked a vacation home with a hottub? Due to hygiene measures, it will be completely emptied, cleaned and refilled before your arrival. It is possible that the hottub is not yet at the right temperature when you arrive. Our apologies for the inconvenience. Our villas with Finnish sauna are equipped with a delicious sauna liquid!

Departure

Unfortunately, every holiday comes to an end. On the departure day, you can return the key at our reception until 10:00. Are you leaving outside reception opening hours? Then you can return the key in the letterbox at reception.

Before you leave, we kindly ask you to check the following:

The dishes are done and cleaned up.
- The heating is set to 18°C.
- The air conditioning is switched off.
- All windows and doors are closed.
- Moved furniture is back in its original place.
- Waste has been deposited in the park container.
- Any damage or breakage to the property or inventory has been reported.

Payments

Any outstanding amounts must be paid before check-in. This means that payment cannot be made on site. Unfortunately, it is not possible to pay in cash.

Cars at Park Duynzoom
- You can park 2 cars at the accommodation. At the entrance of the park is a general parking area equipped with 4 charging poles, where other cars can be parked.
- Visitors should park their cars outside Park Duynzoom.
- A maximum speed of 5 kilometres per hour is allowed.

At the park:
- No car traffic and loud music between: 23:00 - 07:00.
- No open fires & BBQ (except in designated areas).

Bicycles
To keep the villa's looking nice, we ask you not to park bicycles against the houses.

Pets:
- Pets not allowed

Waste:
Dispose of waste in the waste container at the entrance, which is only for Park Duynzoom (close waste container after use - press 2 red buttons simultaneously).

For parents with children, please pay attention to the following points:
- When playing, please respect the surroundings and other residents
- Watch out for doors and windows

Texel's most popular beach is the beautiful sandy beach at De Koog, which is pleasantly crowded in good weather. For a bit more peace and quiet, go to the vast beach area De Hors, in the south of Texel.

Put on your boots and explore the beautiful Wadden area together; mudflat hiking is an adventurous excursion with the kids! You spot lots of marine animals such as shrimps, crabs and unusual Wadden birds looking for food.
Walk the Sommeltjespad (1.5 km) through Texel's Dunes National Park with the children. Along the route, children search for Sommeltjes (earthmen made of stone) and animals that live there.
For children aged 12 and over, you will find a fast 500-metre kart track on Texel where you can race at up to 70 kilometres per hour. At IJsboerderij Labora, you can choose from lots of flavours of artisanal ice cream and watch the farm's cows being milked by milking robots. There is a large outdoor playground where children can have hours of fun.
At Landgoed De Bonte Belevenis, you will learn how products are made with raw materials from Texel. Kids can take part in soap, bread or candle-making workshops and romp around in the large outdoor playground.
Near the marina in Oudeschild is a 32-metre-long publicly accessible play area where children can climb and clamber to their heart's content. At the water playground, children can play with sand and water from the Wadden Sea.
Looking for an indoor play paradise for the kids? At Camping Kogerstrand and Vakantiepark De Krim you will find fine indoor playgrounds where children can slide, jump, run and play (for free), even if you are not staying here.
