The beach at Schoorl aan Zee is lovely and quiet; you can only get here by bike. The cycle path to the beach is beautiful and winds through the Schoorl Dunes. In the summer months, you'll find a simple beach pavilion on the beach.

Hargen aan Zee also comes highly recommended. There is a large car park a few metres away and the beach is very wide. Hargen aan Zee beach pavilion is a nice place for a good lunch or a glass of wine at sunset.

In Camperduin, you can sunbathe at the lagoon in the dunes or rent a supboard at Laguna beach. For children, you will find a large, wooden play ship where they can play to their heart's content. Walk to Hookipa beach for kite and surfing lessons.

Looking for a lively beach, a lively promenade and shops? Then drive or cycle on to the beaches of Bergen aan zee or Egmond aan zee. In Bergen aan Zee, you will find several trendy beach pavilions where you can enjoy a delicious dinner.

Nude recreation is only allowed in Bergen aan Zee, between kilometre posts 29.5 and 31.5. This area is not signposted.
