Texel, a small island at the Dutch coast; closeby the mainland but still wonderfully far away from reality. With the wind through your hair and the sand under your feet, you will experience the ultimate feeling of freedom at the island of Texel. Our villas on Texel are spread over two small-scale holiday parks Duynzoom near De Koog and Waddenduyn near Den Burg. Below you will find the offer.
Waddenduyn 2 is a comfortable 6-person holiday home with a large south-facing garden. Park Waddenduyn is a small-scale holiday park with 9 thatched detached holiday villas just outside the cosy village Den Burg. Pets are not allowed at Waddenduyn 2.
Layout
The bright and cosy living room with spacious lounge sofa offers beautiful views over the countryside. The French doors open onto the terrace and garden.
A Smart TV (Samsung) hangs in the living room. There is a dining table for 6. The open kitchen, located at the front of the holiday villa, is equipped with a dishwasher, fridge, microwave, oven, gas hob (5 burners), kettle, milk frother, Nespresso coffee machine and a (filter) coffee machine. The washing machine, dryer, hoover and ironing board with iron can be found in the adjacent utility room. The utility room also has a door to the outside. In the hall by the front door is a cloakroom and a separate toilet. The open staircase takes you to the first floor.
On the first floor there are 3 bedrooms and a bright bathroom with bath, shower and toilet. In the master bedroom there are 2 single beds and a sofa bed (suitable for children). There is a second TV (with Blueray player) in this bedroom. The French doors give access to the balcony. The other two bedrooms also have 2 single beds (can be pushed apart if desired).
The holiday home is child-friendly and has a high chair, cot and stair gate.
The driveway of the holiday villa can accommodate 2 cars. At the end of the driveway is a small wooden shed. The holiday villa is separated on the left and right with a hedge. In the backyard you will find a spacious terrace with a garden table and chairs and parasol with two sunbeds. The garden borders a ditch.

There is always something to do on Texel. You can go shopping in one of our cosy villages. In the "capital" of Texel, Den Burg, you can spend hours strolling around the shops and the market that takes place every Monday morning. De Koog is also a great place to shop for beach supplies and more. And of course a visit to one of the fine outdoor cafés is not to be missed!
In spring, Texel comes alive with an explosion of colour. Nature awakens from its winter, and the flower fields paint the landscape with vibrant hues. Admire the blooming tulips and enjoy the cosy market in Den Burg, where local products and crafts can be found. Explore the villages on foot or by bike and enjoy the rising warmth and liveliness on our island.
Summer brings sun-drenched days and a vibrant atmosphere to Texel. The beaches invite lazing and water sports, while the village centres bustle with activity. For sports enthusiasts, Texel offers extensive opportunities, ranging from breathtaking walks and cycle tours to adventurous sailing and surfing lessons. Dutchen offers two different, small-scale holiday parks in beautiful locations on Texel: Park Duynzoom is within walking distance of the beach, in a quiet location near De Koog. Park Waddenduyn, another small holiday park, is in a great, green location just outside Den Burg. Both holiday parks offer the perfect base from which to explore the island of Texel.
