Right on the edge of the Uitgeestermeer on holiday park De Hoop you will find our stylish Glamping park. All Family Lodges here have their own private sanitary facilities, solid wooden beds and beautifully complete furnishings. Our camp is surrounded by water, we have a beautiful swimming lake, a marina with its own boat rental and a surf beach.

 

At Glamping holiday park de Hoop, everything is available for an active family holiday. At this park, in addition to our own safe children's beach, we also have a surf beach, so surfers and kiters: be sure to bring your equipment! SUPs and kayaks are also available and our team can inform you about sailing and surfing lessons at the local surf school. Furthermore, a Weltevree Outdoor Kitchen/BBQ is available in the central field next to the playground for use by Glamping Guests.

 

In the holidays, there are weekly activities such as beginners' Sup Clinic, sunset supping in good weather, yoga, bootcamp, marshmallow roasting and werewolves. And at reception is the starting point of the approximately two-hour treasure hunt. The programme is included in the price of accommodation.

Luxury camping is done in this comfortable 5-person insulated Wooden Lodge, equipped with private bathroom and air conditioning / heating. The lodge is a fine accommodation to stay in all year round: because of the insulation it stays refreshingly cool inside in the summer and you will find extra warmth in the winter. The lodge is suitable for max. 4 adults plus 1 child up to 12 years old.

 

Layout

This luxurious 5-person Wooden Lodge is about 50 m2 and has a cosy living area with sitting and dining area. The fully-fledged, open kitchen is equipped with a 4-burner gas hob, a Nespresso machine, kettle and fridge. At the back of the tent are the two bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with a bunk bed and single bed. You will also find the bathroom here, equipped with a toilet and hot shower. Wonderful luxury camping!

 

The covered terrace at the front (veranda) is equipped with comfortable outdoor furniture. Here you can enjoy a snack and a drink until late in the evening.

The Glamping Lodge has free Wi-Fi and air-conditioning, so that it stays nice and cool in the summer too. The air conditioning can also be used as a heater on colder days!

Pets are not allowed.

 

The holiday park

Erfgoedpark de Hoop is car-free. Parking is possible at the central car park.

In the park you will find several natural playgrounds and a large lawn where children can play. Directly adjacent to the park is a (public) swimming lake.

The park has an excellent restaurant with a spacious terrace where you can relax. The restaurant also has two rooms that you can reserve for a private occasion.

The historic building with its authentic mill houses a craft room.

 

Surroundings

Sailing, cycling, walking: there is plenty to do around the Uitgeestermeer! Also cities like Alkmaar, Zaandam, Haarlem, Amsterdam and Schiphol Airport are at maximum 30 minutes driving distance. For a day on the beach you can go to Castricum aan Zee, Wijk aan Zee and Egmond aan Zee. Museums such as the Zaanse Schans, the archaeological centre Huis van Hilde and the Bunker Museum in IJmuiden are also certainly worth a visit.

Glamping to the max in fully equipped glamping lodges

All Glamping Lodges are equipped with free Wi-Fi and air conditioning to keep you cool even in summer. The air conditioning can also be used as heating on colder days.

 

Park

There is an excellent restaurant on site and an ice cream parlour serving the best ice creams in the region. There is a central car park nearby and charging stations for electric cars.

 

Activities

Our on-site team can also give you information on bike rental, e-choppers and on sailing lessons at the local sailing school. Also, boats can be hired at the marina to cruise the Uitgeestermeer lake. There is a fixed bbq evening every week.

 

As an outing in the area, the island of de Woude (accessible by boat) is a good tip, the centre of Alkmaar is nearby and on the E-chopper you can go to the Zaanse Schans. The coastal villages of Castricum, Bergen, Egmond and Schoorl are also within easy reach.
